Once every 10 years the World Horticultural Exhibition is held. At this exhibition, you discover solutions that make cities even more fun and beautiful in a sustainable way. This year, EuroParcs is at Floriade with a lodge from Sett Living. Come along and don't miss it.
While maintaining appearance and comfort, the Just Nature recreation home has been completely preserved and made future-proof by using sustainable materials and smart domotics that inform you about energy consumption, among other things. A special feature is the modular bathroom that can be replaced from the sliding exterior in its entirety and quickly.
For Floriade, we developed a very unique chalet that is both completely self-sufficient and modular. Because of the color scheme, the chosen materials and the location of the house, you immediately get a "back to nature" feeling when entering the house.
Floriade 2022 in Almere is open daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm. We welcome you to take a look here as well.
The home that Sett Living produced for EuroParcs at Floriade is very unique. For example, the insulation in the walls is made of recycled waste paper with cellulose. The facades of the chalet are produced from recycled aluminum combined with thermally modified wooden parts. The roof is also entirely made of recycled materials. Moreover, the sedum roof offers the possibility of installing solar panels on it.
Due to the theme of modular construction, the chalet's bathroom is electronically retractable and extendable. On one wall in the living room, on the toilet and in the bathroom, moisture-resistant antistuco has been applied. Given the sustainable aspect of the home, the chalet is completely gas-free and is heated by infrared panels.
As icing on the cake, the chalet is also equipped with the latest technologies, so just about everything is controllable and readable with the tablet.
Using the tablet, it is possible to fully control the lock, heating, ordering food, renting a bike and operating the barrier. Everything to make your vacation an experience.
Buying a chalet on your own land can raise several questions. In order to help you as much as possible, we have compiled the most common questions below.
Do you have your own land on which to place chalets?
No, we do have contacts with several recreational parks that offer lots with our chalets.
What does it cost to build a chalet?
Due to the highly fluctuating prices of building materials, we do not display prices on our website. Please contact us for the current price.
How long does the installation of a chalet take (including production process)?
The installation and setting up takes one day. Earthwork, sealing and other work approx three days (in-house). Delivery usually takes 3 to 6 months after final order. Please contact us for current delivery times.
